Unit 5

Unit 5 is a standard H-200/U sound-powered

telephone headset-chestset. Unit 5 is used with unit 4

and may also be connected to a terminal station

equipped with a jack.

Unit 6

Unit 6 (fig. 5-29) provides a means of connecting

an extension visual signal device to ship's power in areas

where such a device is required. Unit 6 is comprised of

a relay assembly mounted inside an enclosure assembly.

The dc voltage from a calling terminal station activates

the relay, which connects the 115-volt power circuits to

as many as three extension visual signal devices.
